COSTS AND LIMITATIONS
Our pricing is simple. This certified product version Red Planet 2.2, 2.1 will require a one-time license fee per provider and an additional monthly support fee. The aforementioned costs cover all interfaces to external systems/services and whatever changes such systems/services demand. The monthly support may increase as additional users are added to the system. The monthly support may increase every 2 years.
Now, there are a few additional costs and they include:
1) Red Planet is built around the database system known as Mvbase and is supplied by Rocket Software. As such, an annualsupport agreement for each connection license must be maintained and controls the number of concurrent users. Adding more connection licenses (maximum is 2048) will cost more money. There are no technical or contractual limitations.
2) In order to meet the requirements of secure data exchange of CCDA and CCR computer files containing transition of care information with other practices, Red Planet is integrated with software provided by Updox. LLC. This allows for sending and receiving computer files with any entity having a valid Direct Address and an agreement with the associated HISP. A monthly support agreement per provider must be maintained. There are no fees per transaction. At this time there are no known technical or contractual limitations.
